| Castle Rocks - Fernie | A walk up to Castle Rocks from River Road, by way of Roots, Hyperventilation and the Castle Rocks trail that was completed this spring. The new trail provides a much nicer access to the great views from the top of the rocks than the old one did. |
| Lost Boys to Polar Peak Ridge Walk | A walk from the top of the Timber chair at Fernie Alpine Resort to Polar Peak, by way of the ridge above Timber and Currie bowls. Although a designated resort hike, it is a bit problematic for the precipice adverse, but the views of the Elk Valley and Lizard Range are excellent. |
